Enhancing the Urban Living Environment

Greenwich Peninsula in London is a popular regeneration project contained by 1.5 miles of Thames riverside. It is made up of stunning apartment buildings and green spaces, and framed by the unmistakable silhouette of the O2 and Emirates cable car.

Phantom Screens (UK) Limited

Apartment living in this area of London brings many advantages; each block is beautifully designed with stunning vistas and easy access to everything our capital has to offer. Our clients wanted to make the most of their ninth-floor west-facing aspect, better control ventilation and temperature, and manage insect intrusion.

"The screens are a great solution, very robust. They work really well on warm days by providing insect-free ventilation."

The beautiful apartment has a generous balcony with large sliding doors, perfect for easy screening. After discussion with our technical team, four Distinction screens were specified; two for the main living area and two for the bedrooms.

The bedroom screens were fitted internally to allow for in-swing windows. We crafted custom-made floor thresholds to allow for carpeting and finished the frames in matt off-white to match the internal frames exactly.

The larger living area screens were fitted to accommodate internal door handles and finished in anodized metallic bronze to match the exterior frames. In line with the building's freehold agreement, the screens are invisible when viewed from the outside.
