The standard Phantom fly screen mesh is extremely strong and we have had no reported incidents of the mesh failing or tearing. The screen mesh is comprised of fibre glass which is very durable and able to withstand cat claws should they feel the need to paw at your door screen.

Although the mesh is very strong, we do not promote it as a specific pet mesh or pet screen but do offer more coarse mesh options that are more durable for pets. We also recommend the use of phantom window screens to keep pets indoors as the screen mesh is held in place within the side tracks as it contains brush pile and discreet latches to secure the mesh.
