The majority of door screens that Phantom install are fitted to UPVC doors. The Phantom fly screen has been developed to face fit to the door frame - meaning that, when in use, the screen take less space than the original door frame - giving you great ventilation and retaining all of your view. A standard UPVC frame also allows our bottom track to fit just below the door frame's bevelled edge, ensuring there is no bulky threshold to step over.

With its low profile monorail tracks (25mm), slimline side housings (50mm), soft glide closing system and strip magnets the 2011 Phantom Screen is a pleasure to look at and use. The spring tension system keeps the superfine mesh taught, giving a flat, ripple-free view. Another great design feature is the monorail track, which holds the fly screen door mesh in place without the need for a bulky floor track or ugly black fabric seal which can become clogged with dirt.

Fly screens should be discreet and ideally match to your door's frame. Therefore, in addition to standard white, Phantom Screens also come in any RAL or British Standard colour, in a choice of either matt or gloss finish. For wooden or wood grained UPVC double-glazed doors we have a wide selection of textured wood grain paint finishes, such as golden oak and mahogany to blend in with your frames.

There is also a choice of screen fabric on our door fly screens. For most of the UK we recommend our standard 18-14 charcoal mesh which provides 40% solar shading. For regions suffering from high midge populations or requiring increased solar shading we recommend our 20-20 charcoal mesh which provides 55% solar shading.
