Fly screens for sash windows
Sash windows have the ultimate benefit of being to fit screens inside or outside. The screen can be fitted to the top Sash to give ventilation to the top of the room whilst keeping breezes off your desk or dressing table, also allowing the bottom sash to be restricted for child protection.
The Serene window fly screen like the Phantom doors screen offers you discreet and effective protection from insects, damaging solar rays and privacy. Designed similar to a overhead roller blind the screen mesh or fabric is pulled taught to give a sheer finish and 100% window seal. The roller housing (55mm) is super slim and the side channels (38mm) contain a set of stiff brushes to keep the mesh from being blown out. The system can easily cover complete windows up to 6ft or 1830mm wide, for larger windows please look at Larger Openings link
Sash window screens have a choice of fabric from superfine insect mesh to full blackout, for hey fever suffers we can also use a anti pollen mesh call Polltex which filters of airborne pollens. The Serene window screen is only fitted by our independent trained screening experts, to book a no obligation survey and see working samples please call us now or click on the link to your own area page to call them directly. For added peace of mind our professionally fitted screens come with our industry beating limited lifetime warranty.
Sash fly screens need to be discreet, Phantom screens are able to paint any RAL or British Standard colour in mat or gloss. There is wide choice screen fabric on the window fly screen for most of the UK we recommend our standard 18-14 charcoal mesh, giving 40% solar shading, for regions suffering from Midge or increased solar shading we also have 20-20 charcoal mesh giving 55% solar shading.
When the screen system is used for cordless blackout there is a choice of colours including reflective backings to reduce the heat build in rooms. The screens side channels are lined with a soft brush seal to stop light bleeding around the edge of the fabric.
Please call us or talk to your local distributor about colours and fabrics.
