Phantom Screens has developed and tested a range of fly screen mesh and decorative fabric choices.

For doors, the most popular choices are our charcoal coloured fly screen meshes which comes in three densities, giving you the ultimate mix of insect protection, ventilation and solar shading (40% to 65% block). We also offer a range of solar screening and privacy fabrics.

Since 2010 we have also been able to offer our pollen mesh, which has proven extremely popular with hayfever suffers. The mesh's superfine filaments filter out air borne pollen to help keep rooms ventilated with clean fresh air and allow hayfever sufferers to sleep with their windows open.

The Serene window fly screen and Executive screen can also be fitted with a greater range of coloured and more decorative solar and privacy fabrics in addition to our fly screen meshes.

The Serene system's side channels have a soft brush seal to minimise light (and insects) seeping around the edge of the screen, meaning the screen can be used as a blackout blind. When combined with a matching paint colour, the frame and fabric create an attractive and contemporary blinds system.

The Serene system, fitted with blackout fabric, can also be used as a space-saving projector screen in rooms where wall space is at a premium.

Insect Mesh

Ideal where insects are a problem, these meshes can reduce up to 55% of UV rays. Insect mesh has a high openness factor and is recommended for large openings, ventilation or situations where maintaining visibility through the mesh is important.
